Brian J. Newsome age 43 of Columbus passed away October 8, 2025 after a battle with cancer. Brian was born March 6, 1982, in Columbus Ohio to his parents the late Conley Newsome Jr. and Kathy Newsome Kaiser. He graduated from Hamilton Township High School Class of 2000. Brian was a mobile mechanic predominantly working with diesel and semi-truck needs. He was a very hard worker that enjoyed helping others. He was also a loving family man that enjoyed his new grandsons, Cayden James and Asher James. He was preceded in death by parents, daughter, Bailey and stepfather, Charles Kaiser. He is survived by his wife, Kandace; sons, Blade and Maddox Newsome; and stepchildren, Seth Imler and Karson (Carey) James. Siblings, Conley Newsome III, Pamela Kaiser (Bobby), Katie Kaiser (Cameron) and Angela Kaiser (Dan); grandfather, Conley Newsome; father and mother-in-law, Gale and Kathi Imler. Many other nieces, nephews, cousins, family members and friends. Visitation will be held at the O. R. WOODYARD CO. 1346 S. High St. Columbus, Ohio Tuesday, October 14, 2025, from 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8 pm where service will take place on Wednesday at 1 pm. Interment at Obetz Cemetery.
