Caitlyn Lane, age 14, passed away Thursday, March 26, 2020 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She is the daughter of Marcella S. Lane and the late Guy Russell Lane of Columbus. Caitlyn is survived by a sister, Natalee and brothers, Justin, Russ (Michelle), Eric (Britney) and Nick Lane; grandmothers, Wilma Lane and Louise Gartin; many aunts, uncles, cousins and 3 nieces and 1 nephew; as well as many more extended family members and friends. Caitlyn is preceded in death by her grandfathers, James Gartin and Guy Russell Lane Sr. The family would like to extend their thanks and appreciation to the staff of Nationwide Children's Hospital for all their care and support during the last year of Caity's illness. A special thank you to Dr. Yeager and crew, Mary and Corrie, who made her stay at the hospital bearable as well as all of the nurses on the 11th and 12th floor.
