Carl William Gray, age 91 passed away on Friday, March 20, 2026, at home with family. Born in Hamersville, Ohio on October 10, 1934.  Retired from the City of Columbus with over 25 years of service.  Member of Pentecostal Church of God in Jesus Name.  Preceded in death by parents, Karl and Florence (Greear) Gray; sister, Muriel "Connie" Hill; sons-in-law, David Cross and Robert Cherry.  Carl is survived by beloved wife of 69 ½ years, Carolyn Gray; daughters, Bonnie Cherry, Virginia "Jenny" (Donald) Finck, Joanna "Joni" (Ben) Kirkendall and Tammy Murphy; 10 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; 3 great great-grandchildren; brother, John Gray;  Family will receive friends at O. R. Woodyard Co. S. High Chapel, 1346 S. High Street, Columbus, on Friday, March 27, 2026 from 11 am until time of service at 12 noon. Pastor Alvin Gilley officiating.   Burial will follow at Obetz Cemetery.
