Carole Ann Remy, age 81, of Dublin Ohio, passed away Wednesday November 23rd after battling Dementia. She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, John Joseph Remy and her parents, Paul Leslie and Helen Warren, brother-in-law Gerald Remy. She was born April 21, 1941, in Portsmouth, Ohio. Carole earned her undergraduate degree in Education from Bowling Green State University and later earned her master's degree in Special Education from The Ohio State University. She was a teacher throughout her career, working the last 20 years for Dublin City Schools. Her focus during her time with Dublin was in Special Education. She made such an impact on so many young people. After retirement, she spent much of her time doing crafts with family, cooking and spending time with her grand kids. She is survived by her sons, John (Jacquie) and Jeff; brother, Rick (Pat) Warren; sister, Martha (Jesse) Hadaway; brother-in-law, Gene (Carolyn) Remy, Linda Remy; grandchildren, Elizabeth, Jarod and Jackson; nieces and nephews, Dana, Jami (Tommy), Dan (Salita), Todd (Michelle) and Jason (Karen). Visitation will be held Saturday, December 3rd from 9:30-11:30 at O.R. Woodyard Northwest Chapel, 2990 Bethel Road.
