Carolyn Jean Henry, age 85 went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 3rd, 2020. She was born in Columbus, OH to Alvah Mae and Charles Columbus Jennings. Carolyn graduated from Columbus South High School and worked at Ohio Bell, retiring from AT&T after more than 40 years of service. Carolyn was active in her church, most recently Judah Christian Community Church in Whitehall. She is preceded in death by her husband Robert Lee Henry, her parents, sister Marianna Harrison and brother Edward Jennings. She is survived by a sister, Martha Lou (Gil) Medeiros, son Christopher Henry, daughters Letitia Henry, Rebecca Blanton (Jason), Kelly Hart, Jennifer Hooper (David) and Mindy Bolton, along with several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to a graveside service for Carolyn on Friday, November 6, 2020 at 10:30 AM at Eastlawn Cemetery, 1401 Woodland Avenue Columbus, OH 43219. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donation be made to the charity or faith community of your choice.
