Carolyn J. Spears Age 86 passed away April 13, 2024 peacefully at her home. She was born July 9, 1937 in Leon, WV to her parents the late Floyd and Dicie Fauver Newell. Carolyn retired from Western Electric and AT&T after over 30 years. Carolyn enjoyed traveling. Preceded in death by husband Earl Spears, brother, Bill. Survived by son and daughter in law, Michael and Mary Spears; grandchildren, Lyndsey Spears, Kailyn Spears, and great grandson Colin Holbrook. Brothers, Floyd Newell, James Newell and Steve Newell. Carolyn was always close to her sister, Joyce Newell. Many other family nieces, nephews. Friends may call at the O. R. WOODYARD CO. CHAPEL, 1346 S.. High St. Thursday April 18th from 5 to 8 P.M. where funeral services will be held Friday 10:30 A.M.
