Catherine Ann Foley, age 67, passed away Friday February 28, 2025, at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. She was Born June 30, 1957, to the late Paul and Sharon Monsour. Catherine, known lovingly as Cathy, was a proud longtime resident of Groveport, Ohio, living in the community for over 40 years. She was a graduate of Walnut Ridge High School. She dedicated much of her career working with Columbus City Schools, beginning as a food service worker and retiring as an area treasurer in December 2023, after over 30 years of service. Cathy enjoyed gardening, crafting, and spending time with family and friends, especially on the golf course with her mother. She cared deeply for all the animals in her life, rescuing and nurturing many beloved pets with her daughter. Her greatest love was for her two children. She is survived by son, Michael Foley; and daughter, Mellisa Foley. She was preceded in death by her mother, Sharon Monsour, and father, Paul Monsour. She is survived by her five brothers and sisters, Terry Monsour, Susan Crow, Linda Hyatt, Lori Harrington, and David Monsour. A celebration of life will be planned in her honor.
