Charlene Marie Boyd, 86, of Dublin, OH formerly of Shadyside, OH passed away, Saturday, March 8, 2025, at The Grand of Dublin. She was born in Bellaire, OH on December 18, 1938, a daughter of the late Robert R. Holloway and Mildred C. (Parker) Holloway.

Charlene was a faithful member of the Lincoln Avenue United Methodist Church. She volunteered and prepared countless meals to help those in need as part of her dedication to the church. She was a member of the order of the Eastern Star and was a past mother advisor to Shadyside Assembly Order of the Rainbow for Girls. She worked many years in retail at Ben Franklins until she retired. Charlene loved her children, supported their endeavors, and volunteered to help in their athletic pursuits and extracurricular activities while they were in school. She was accomplished in floral design and the art of crafting. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, and spending time with her family. Charlene was a devoted wife to the late Benjamin F. Boyd Jr. for fifty-six years. She was a beautiful and compassionate mother to her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, Charlene was preceded in death by her youngest, beloved son, Thomas Allen Boyd; brothers, Bob Holloway and Clyde Holloway. Charlene is survived by her children, Lisa (Jeff) Mayhugh, Benjamin "Benny" (Beth) Boyd, Lawrence "Larry" (Karen) Boyd, daughter-in-law, Rachel Boyd; seven grandchildren, Carissa, Travis, Brandon, Braden, Em, Nathan, and Kaeden; eleven great grandchildren, Charlene also shared a special relationship with Todd Timbrook and considered him her "adopted son." She also considered Annie Richardson her "adopted granddaughter."

Family and friends will be received at O.R. Woodyard Funeral Home at 2990 Bethel Rd., Columbus, OH 43220 on Saturday, March 15, 2025, for visitation from 1 to 3 P.M. and services will follow at 3:00 P.M. with Rev. Randy Weaver officiating

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Charlene's name to Care 360 Hospice at 3455 Mill Run Dr. #100, Hilliard, OH 43026.
