Charles "Chuck"E. Black, age 90, passed away on May 20, 2024. He was born in Columbus, OH on June 4, 1933 to the late Walter and Lucille Williams Black. He is a U.S. Army and Korean War veteran, SCARWAF and lifetime VFW member.

Chuck was lovingly described as a crotchety crumudgeon by those who knew him best. In his free time he went to the Cabin and enjoyed fishing, hunting, and hanging out with family.

Preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Marie Black, parents; brother, Robert Black.

He is survived by children, Charlene (Joe) Paquin, Tony (Cindy) Black, Pete (CIndy) Black, April (Steve) Sparks; grandchildren, Sara, Brittany, Chelsea, Tyler, Shannon, Alison, Andrew, Chris, Jeff and Laura; 15 great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Friends and family can call from 5:00PM - 7:00PM on Thursday, May 23, 2024, Services will follow at 11:00AM on Friday 24, 2024 at the O.R. Woodyard Co. Inturment will follow at Sunset Cemetery. Stan Kirtland will be offciating.
