Charles Henry Craft, of Columbus, Ohio, was born on September 12, 1940, in Bluefield, West Virginia, to Charlotte Craft. He passed away peacefully on December 15, 2025, surrounded by loved ones.

Charles was known for his immaculate craftsmanship in carpentry, proudly claiming and earning the title of "The Master Carpenter." He will be fondly remembered for his exceptional work, his unforgettable sayings, and the deep love he shared with his family.

As a God-fearing man, Charles faithfully served for many years as a Deacon at Eternal Life Church of Christ in Columbus, Ohio. His devotion to God, family, and the community was evident in every aspect of his life.

Charles is survived by his beloved wife of 35 years, Cathryn Craft, whom he loved unconditionally; his children Jerry, Robert (Allison), Shaquala, Keshia, and Cyntisha (Geoffrey), all of Columbus, Ohio; nine grandchildren Shakala, Zarreyananh, Tiarah, Zanoea, Davionna, Cole, Nakala, Denayla, and Dynasty; one great-grandchild, Dasiyah; first cousins Lowell (Roberta) Jackson and Patricia (Alonzo) Loughridge; along with a host of cousins from Michigan, New York, and Virginia, and many cherished friends.

Charles was preceded in death by his mother, Charlotte Craft.

A service to honor the life of Charles Henry Craft will be held on Saturday, December 20, 2025, at O.R. Woodyard Funeral Home, located at 1346 S. High Street, Columbus, Ohio, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
