Charles "Tiny" Grumman, age 85, passed away on May 29, 2026 surrounded by his loving family. Born April 14, 1941 in Columbus, Ohio to Arthur and Evelyn Grumman.

Tiny is preceded in death by his parents, brother Fred Grumman, and sister, Trudy Greenhill. Tiny is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Ruth Grumman, brother Ed (Nancy) Grumman, sons John (Stephanie) Grumman, Rick (Dana) Grumman, and Scott (Mary) Grumman, 10 grandchildren,15 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and beloved canine companion, Sophie.

Tiny was employed for over 40 years by The Columbus Dispatch where he started in the mail room and worked his way into upper management. On December 7, 1961 he married Ruth Ramey, the only person he ever truly looked up to. Tiny was a train enthusiast, enjoyed chess matches and watching Buckeye football with his sons and grandchildren, and was a self taught computer wizard. He was a member of Freewill Baptist Church. Tiny was always quick with a joke and never met a stranger. He will always be remembered for his larger than life personality and love of his family.

Visitation will be held at Pfeifer Woodyard Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 3rd from 5pm-7pm. Funeral service will be held Thursday, June 4 at 12:45pm with Rev. Jerry Sargent officiating. Burial will take place at Sunset Cemetery, 6959 W. Broad St., Galloway, Ohio 43119, immediately following the funeral.
