Charles "Hoss" Hosafros passed peacefully away on August 8, 2017 at Doctor's West Hospital. Hoss was born January 26, 1952 in Kenton, Ohio. He is survived by his only son, Jason, daughter-in law Sabina, and grandson Tanner, sisters Tonie and Sinda, nephews Shawn and Michael, nieces Kara and Rachel, extended family, and many friends, including his ex-wife Ann. Hoss grew up around the automotive industry and eventually became a certified mechanic which led to his career path in the automotive business as a successful salesman and could be counted on to exceed his monthly goals. Hoss looked forward each year to the Dallas Cowboys season, cheered for his beloved Buckeyes and never missed watching a Nascar race. Amongst enjoying various sporting events, Hoss spent a number of years teaching his son about his love of fishing to the extent of using his own father's tackle box to continue that tradition. Hoss was preceded in death by his parents Guy and Margie Hosafros. Jason and Sabina would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the Doctor's West ICU team, specifically James, Natalie, Lauren and Drs. G, Chow, Bradley and Mazen for their commitment to Hoss's care and comfort. Caring cremation has occurred and an open house celebration of Hoss's life will be held on Saturday, August 12th from 3:00-5:00 p.m. at the Eagles in Lancaster.
