Charles Edward Moore, Jr. passed away on Monday, August 20, 2018 at Mt. Carmel East Hospital having just celebrated his 75th birthday on August 5, 2018. He was a retired Engineer from IBM and a 1961 High School graduate from Linden McKinley High School and a 1964 graduate from the Ohio Technical Institute. Preceded in death by his parents; Charles Moore, Sr. and Hazel Moore Nickell, sister Janice Moore, daughter Teresa (Moore) Braughton, daughter-in-law Veronica (Charles lll) Moore and grandchildren; Vincent Rossi, Charlie Moore and Gary Lee Moore. Survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Dolores; daughter Tina (Matthew) Rossi, son Charles Moore lll, son Christopher (Debbie) Moore, daughter Tara Alexander, daughter Tessa Moore and many beloved grandchildren and great-children. Chuck or Charlie, as many affectionately called him, left this world extending his quirky sense of humor and the kindness he was known for, with an amazing strength embodied with grace and grit. He was a "jack-of-all trades" who enjoyed DIY projects, trends in technology and health and an avid movie watcher. He was a dedicated family man who wore his heart on his sleeve and was a neighbor to all, always offering a helping hand or listening ear. Charlie was dearly loved and will be deeply missed. Visitation will begin at 1:00 pm until time of service at 2:00 pm at O. R. Woodyard Co South Chapel, 1346 S. High St. Columbus, OH 43207 on Sunday, August 26, 2018.
