It is with heavy hearts that we announce that Charles (Chuck) Darrell Ratliff, age 63, passed away June 7, 2024, at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. Chuck was born May 21,1961, in Paintsville Kentucky but raised in Columbus Ohio. Chuck was a loving husband, father to his two children, brother, and uncle. He worked at Buckeye Steel for 22 years and then transitioned to Medical Assisting, working for Columbus Neighborhood Health. Chuck went to Marion Franklin high school. He loved to golf, spend time with his family, and loved his family pets. He is preceded in death by his sister, Denise Ratliff; father, Charles (Rat) Ratliff; and mother, Shirley Ratliff.  He is survived by his loving wife of 37 years Teresa Ratliff; son, Ryan (Jordan Shumway) Ratliff; daughter, Katelyn Ratliff; sister, Debbie Ratliff; and many nieces and nephews.  Visitation will be held at O.R. Woodyard South High St. Chapel,1346 S. High St Columbus, OH, 43207, on Monday June 17, 2024, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm.  Chuck will be laid to rest at Obetz Cemetery with his parents and sister at a later date.
