Charles "Bud" Wellman age 77 passed away at home peacefully with his family.  Born in Louisa, Kentucky on July 28, 1947.  Bud owned and operated C & B Trucking.  When Bud wasn't working and driving truck, he loved riding his Harley bike. Preceded in death by parents, Vanton and Betty (Thompson) Wellman; brothers, Larry and Joe Wellman; daughter, Charlene; granddaughters, Misty and Natasha Wellman.  Survived by wife, Gracie Wellman; sons, Rudy and Mickey; daughter, Tresa (Smith) Wellman; numerous grandchildren including, Tyler and Haley; many great grandchildren including, Poptart, Mason and Red; several nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends, Norman and Tony.  Special thank you Amanda, his caregiver of 3 1/2 years and Mount Carmel hospice staff.  Family will receive friends at O. R. WOODYARD CO. CHAPEL, 1346 S. High St., on Tuesday, August 20, 2024, from 4 to 7 pm. Where funeral service will be held 11 am. Wednesday.  Burial will follow at Obetz Cemetery.
