Chester Barnett Jr., age 72, passed away Wednesday, September 30, 2026, at home with his wife Kimberly by his side. Chet was the son of Chester Barnett Sr and the late Barbara Barnett. Chet was born October 16, 1953, in Wheeling, West Virginia. He graduated from Northridge H.S. Johnstown, Ohio. Chet enjoyed watching the Broncos football, hockey and baseball games. He proudly coached his son in little league baseball. He enjoyed going to concerts with Kim.

Chet is preceded in death by his mother Barbara and survived by his father, Chester Barnett Sr.

Chet is survived by his wife of 44 years, Kimberly; son, Joseph (Sara) O'Byrne; grandchildren, Darius, Amyah, Kennedie, Kyla, Brooklynn and Braylon; brothers, Robert (Suzanna) Barnett; Michael (Billie) Barnett; sister; Debbie Barnett; sisters-in-law, Beverly (Jim) Long and Lenora Fultz; numerous aunts uncles, nieces and nephews.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday, October 16, 2026, from 1 to 5 pm at Blue Star RVM, Lancaster Ohio
