Christine (Clapp) Smith, age 97, passed away Wednesday February 21, 2024, at Kobacker House.

Raised in North Carolina, she attended college where she studied business and French. Christine was an avid reader and writer of poems throughout her life. She was a loving wife to her husband Robert Smith for 67 years, and also a loving Mother to her two sons, Robert (Lois) Smith Jr. and Roger (Robin) Smith. She not only loved, but actively participated in her grandchildren  Rob, Rick, Rachel, Spencer and Sydney's lives. Christine being a devout Christian taught us all the true meaning of unconditional love, always putting others needs before her own. Her light, love, and adorable giggle will be sorely missed but never forgotten.

The family plans a private service in North Carolina where she will be laid to rest with her beloved parents and siblings.
