Clara L. Cunion , age 78, passed away at home surrounded by her family in Columbus Ohio on May 14,2024.

Clara was born July 11,1946 in Mount Sterling Ohio. She was the daughter of Clarence and Mildred (Vanatta) Bush. Clara was married to Ronald Cunion for 57 years. She was employed at National Highway Express for many years before her retirement. Clara was a member of Walnut Hill United Methodist Church where she had met many of her dearest friends.

Clara is survived by daughter Ronda (Anthony) Samczuk, grandchildren Emily Hoosier, Isabella Samczuk, Sophia Samczuk and great grandson Hayden,

sister Emogen Vulgamore, niece Megan (Craig) Stamper, nephew Scott Vulgamore, nephew Donald (Jennifer) King Iv.

Clara was preceded in death by husband Ronald Cunion, Brother Lee Bush, Niece Amy Chaffin and stepson Jerry Cunion.

Clara loved cooking and baking, gardening and embroidery and crochet. In younger years she enjoyed fishing with Ron. Clara's grandchildrens most loved memories of her will always be playing cards and board games with her, special birthday dinners and snuggling and watching cartoons.

Services will be held on May 22, 2024 at O.R. Woodyard 1346 South High Street Columbus Ohio 43207. Burial will be at St Joseph Cemetery 6440 South High Street Lockbourne Ohio 43207 at 12pm. Relatives and Friends of Clara are welcome at the O.R. Woodyard from 10am-12pm for visitation.

A luncheon in Clara's honor will be held at Walnut Hill Church 975 Rathmell Rd Columbus Ohio 43207 following the graveside service.
