Obituary

Clyde A. Moore, age 80, of Columbus, Ohio passed away Saturday, April 1, 2023. He was born August 9, 1942 in Leavenworth, Kansas to the late Mildred (Stevens) Riley and Joseph Moore Jr.

Clyde was a U. S. Army Veteran and retired from Buckeye Steel after 35 years of service. He was a devoted member of the Obetz Church of the Nazarene, where he served as Sunday School Superintendent for over 30 years. He also taught Sunday School and served in many other areas of the church faithfully.

In addition to his parents he is also preceded in death by his step-father, Earl Riley; mother-in-law, Mary Larkin; sister-in-law, Mildred Sydebotham; brother-in-law, Gordon Young.

Clyde is survived by his wife of 57 years, Linda (Buck) Moore; daughters, Lisa (Kevin) Horsefield, Terri See, Kristi (Jeff) Moore; sons, Jay (Veronica) Moore, Michael (Victoria) Moore; 4 grandchildren, Sarah Hamm, Jamie (Adam) Haukom, Demi (Antonio) Gomez, Jacqueline (David) Bonner; 11 great grandchildren; siblings, Melvin Sydebotham, Betty Young, Earl (Sherry) Riley, Daniel (Connie) Riley, Maureen (Carl) King and many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life service will be held at 2:00pm on Sunday April 16th, 2023 at the Obetz Church of the Nazarene, 4101 Groveport Rd, Obetz, OH 43207.
