Clynton L. Oliver, age 85, passed away at Altercare of Canal Winchester after a brief illness on August 16th. He was born on Jan. 15, 1938, to the late Hawlie and MayBell (Wheatcraft) Oliver of Leon, West Virginia. Clynton worked for the OI-NEG formally Owens Illinois company for forty-three years as a Forman Select Operator. His skills and knowledge awarded him the opportunity to travel to Japan to instruct employees at a sister company. Clynton was a good husband, father and grandfather who loved his family dearly and his fur babies, Snoopy and Amy Lyn. He was preceded in death by his parents; five brothers; four sisters; wife, Lorena; and granddaughter, Tiffany A. Gallion. He is survived by his daughter, Connie (Steve) Murphy of Baltimore Ohio; sons, Clinton Jr. and Gary (Belinda) of Columbus Ohio; granddaughters, Heather Oliver of Columbus, and Rachelle (Cameron) Ward of Chillicothe Ohio, and many other dear friends and family. Friends may call at the MEYERS-WOODYARD FUNERAL HOME, 587 Main St., Groveport from 5-8 PM on Friday, August 18 where the funeral will be on Saturday at 12:00 PM.
