Celebrating the Life of Cody "Bubba" Allen Lee Hildebrand

November 12, 1992 – November 1, 2025

Cody "Bubba" Allen Lee Hildebrand of Amanda, Ohio, age 32, left us on November 1, 2025. He is survived by his loving wife, Hillary Hildebrand; their two beloved children, Kinsley Marie and Kason Lee; his mother, Angela Hildebrand; his sister, Kayla Hildebrand (Paul Williams) and their daughter, Charleigh; and his mother-in-law, Tina West; mammal, Joyce Spence; sister-in-law, Holly (Martin) Robinson; brother-in-law, Matthew West; brother, Christopher (Caytlin) Manring; numerous other relatives and friends. Cody now joins his father, Bruce Hildebrand; and grandmother, Darlene Jordan, who passed before him.

Born and raised in Columbus, Cody graduated from Groveport Madison High School. To everyone who knew him, he was generous, compassionate, honest, and—above all—hardworking.

Cody had a passion for working on trucks and cars, he followed that passion and work as a heavy equipment mechanic for Walmart Distribution and Logistics. He loved spending his free time with his children. Kinsley was his little shadow that wanted to help Daddy in any task. You could also find him cheering on Ohio State football, casting a line, sitting quietly in a deer stand, or simply soaking up fresh air with family and friends.  Some of his happiest moments were spent under the hood of a car or truck, country music playing. Cody also loved his faithful dog, Cain.

Cody was always the first to lend a hand, though he rarely asked for help himself.  In sharing this, his family hopes anyone who is struggling will reach out—because no one should face those battles alone.

We will carry his warm smile, his love for the outdoors, and every game-day cheer in our hearts. Fly High, Bubba. Your kindness and strength live on in all of us who love you.
