Connie Lee Bates, age 73, passed away Monday, February 17, 2025 in Columbus, OH. Connie was born December 5, 1951 in Columbus, OH to the late Ora and Ruth Bachelder. She retired from Riverside Hospital. She enjoyed her membership in the Strokers Rod and Custom Club. Connie loved traveling, especially to Tennessee, but above all she loved taking care of and spending time with her family. Connie is survived by her husband, Bill Bates; sons, Fred and Lonnie Klipple; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; more friends than can be counted. Visitation for Connie will be Tuesday, February 25, 2025 from 11 a.m. until time of funeral service at 1 p.m. at the O.R. WOODYARD CO. SOUTH CHAPEL, 1346 S. High St. in Columbus, OH. Pastor John Girard officiating. Interment will follow at Wesley Chapel Cemetery, Hilliard, OH.
