Dale Edward Carpenter, age 72, passed away Thursday September 11, 2025, at his home in Toledo, Ohio. He was born on August 5, 1953, to the late Ruth (Triplett) Dillingham. As well as his mother, Ruth, Dale is also preceded in death by his stepfather, Kenneth Dillingham; stepson, Sean Cousino; brothers, Donald Carpenter and Darwin (Charlie) Dillingham; aunt, Carol (Andrew) Janis; and uncle, Bob McLaughlin. Dale is survived by his wife, Kelley Brown Carpenter; and his children, Shane Carpenter and Shanna (Bryant) Davis; stepdaughter, Heather Cousino; granddaughters, Monica (Dalton) Sullivan, Raven Carpenter, Claire Boakye, and Abigail Parsley; step granddaughter, Skylar Cousino; great grandchildren, Addilyn and Owen Sullivan, Scarlet Neal; sister, Denise (Kent) Ackerman; brothers, Dale's twin brother, Dave (Lucy) Carpenter, Dan Carpenter, Ben (Connie) Dillingham; aunt, Elaine Triplett; many nieces, nephews, and friends, Dale is a US Marine veteran who proudly served his country during the Vietnam War. Visitation for Dale will be Friday September 19, 2025, at O. R. Woodyard Co. 1346 S. High St. Columbus, Ohio 43207 from 11:00 am until time of service at 12:00 pm Pastor Paul Barnes officiating.
