Dale Lee Massie, age 69, passed away Sunday October 19, 2025, at Kettering Health Care in Dayton, Ohio. Dale was a loving father and son he will be missed and loved everyday and be remembered for his sense of humor and helping heart. He was always thinking of everyone else over himself. Dale is preceded in death by his father, Llyod Dale Massie; and those who stay with hearts full of love and pain are his mother, Carol Rakes; and step mother, Charlotte Massie and his sister; Della Massie, his daughter, Crystal Massie;  son, Joseph Massie; grandchildren, Angelina Massie, Mariana (Mary Ann) Arenas Massie, Antonia Tonatzy Arenas Massie, Jesus Arenas Massie, Crystal Arenas Massie, Raven and Kaelìn Ellinger; three great-grandchildren, Jose Jesus, Angel Eduardo and Nathan Saul; also his nephew, Jonathon; and close nieces and nephews, Donnie Estep, Stacey Wallace, Caden Dixon, and Sara Hampton. Many more nieces and nephews cousins and family. Dale will be remembered not only with tears but also with joy, remembering how he was always trying to make someones day brighter by bringing a smile to their face. Graveside services for Dale will be Tuesday October 21, 2025, at 2:00 pm at Obetz Cemetery.
