Dani Leigh Barney, age 45, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 6, 2025.  Dani was born in Columbus, Ohio on August 13, 1979. Her family was her biggest strength and her greatest accomplishment in life—she loved them wholeheartedly until her very last breath. She is preceded in death by mother, Bonnie Jean Carpenter-Jesson; mammaw, Shirley Carpenter. She is survived by her devoted husband of 22 years , Acie R. Barney II; daughter, Gracie Barney; son, Deegan Barney; father, James Jesson; aunt, Connie (Butch Merlano) Weber; cousins, Jamie (Rodney) Houghton and Craig (Georgia) Weber.
