Daniel Ray Marcum, age 60, passed away at home on September 11, 2021. He was born on September 14, 1960 in Huntington, West Virginia to the late Luther and Emma Marcum. He is preceded in death by his son, Daniel Ray Marcum; life partner, Lou Ellen Jones, who passed in 2011; sisters: Marsha "Pat" Elliott and Hazel Marie Marcum; brother, John L. Marcum. He is also preceded in death by his dog, Cluey. Daniel is survived by his children: Angela (Chris), Kevin (Sarah), Danny Joe Marcum, Amy, Ashley, Taylor (Jimmy) grandchildren, Chris, Kylie, Nick, Alonna, Kevin, Keara, Tyler, Kayleigh, Tiffany, Realynn, Danni, Ava, Aubrey, Ry'Ann, Elijah, Miley, Kayden, Zariah, Aniah, Alaya, Jimmy Jr., and Jayden. He is also survived by siblings: Bobby, Ronnie, Roger (Brenda), and Andy (Willetta "Squeak"); special nieces and nephews: Ronnie Marcum, Billy Robinson, Melinda Marcum, and Sam Robinson; along with many other nieces, nephews, family members, and friends, too numerous to list. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at O.R. Woodyard Co. South Chapel (1346 S. High St. Cols. OH 43207) from 5 to 8 PM. Visitation will follow on Thursday from 10:30 AM until time of service at 11:30 AM. Interment will follow at Obetz Cemetery.
