Darrell DeBoard, age 48, passed away September 14, 2013 at Osu East Medical Center during his ongoing battle to "kick cancer's butt." Preceded in death by mother, Judy Hilles, and step-father, Walter Hilles. Born in Columbus, he's survived by children, Elisha (Kyle) Cummings and Chad DeBoard; fianc, Robin Tootle and his baby Mango; grandson, Brayden "Brady Bunch" DeBoard; three sisters, Kathy (Jude) Hilles, Debbie (Tim) Grady, and Barbara (Bobbie) Kennedy; Kimberly (Jeffrey) Holland; and many friends and relatives; Worked for J.F. Baker Roofing; He was an avid outdoorsman with an unparalleled personality and sense of humor. To know him was to love him. Friends may attend a memorial gathering Thursday September 19th from 5 to 7 P.M. at the O.R. WOODYARD CO. CHAPEL, 1346 S. High St. where service will start at 7 P.M.
