David Allen Van Culin, age 64, passed away Tuesday, August 17, 2021 at OSU Medical Center in Columbus, OH. David was born September 19, 1956 in Columbus, OH to the late Donald and Doris Van Culin. He worked for Worthington Steel, and he's served as a Mentor for AA for 17 years. He is preceded in death by his parents and former spouse, Sherry. David is survived by his daughter, Marie Chevalier; son, Doug (Nadia) Mantle; 7 grandchildren; siblings, Mike Van Culin, Paul (Denise) Van Culin, Marianne (Jim) Lam, and Dianne Herman; numerous nieces, nephews, and many friends. Visitation for David will be Thursday, August 26, from 10 a.m. until time of funeral service at 11 a.m. at the O.R. WOODYARD CO. Northwest Chapel, 2990 Bethel Rd. in Columbus.
