David L. McManus Born May 2, 1945 and passed peacefully on September 6, 2022. Longtime HilltopUSA resident and proud West High School alumnus. An Army veteran, he retired after years working at the Brookshire Foodliner while also serving as a dedicated member and volunteer with the Westgate CRC. Preceded in death by beloved parents, W. Earl Bryan and Zelma "Marty" Bryan; sisters, Elizabeth Scott Skropka and Marilyn Bryan Frost; uncles, Harlan Jones Jr. and Philip Robinson; cousin, Loretta Jones Jude. "Unkie" Dave is survived by nieces and nephews, Jennifer, Scott & Logan Sheets and Tabitha, Haley & Cheyanne Kifer; Aunt, Jean Robinson and many Cousins. He never met a stranger and is also survived by many wonderful neighbors and friends. He had a heart of gold and will be sorely missed by everyone who knew him. A memorial gathering will be held on Friday, September 16th at the O.R. WOODYARD SOUTH CHAPEL from 2 until the time of service at 3:30. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the West High School Alumni or Westgate Recreation Council. Cemetery Details Cremation-No cemetery at this time.
