David Lee Workman, age 81, passed away Sunday, January 16, 2011. Worked as Manager in the Meat Department of Big Bear Stores for 54 years. Member of the Linden Masonic Lodge, Eastern Star and the Shriners. Former Deacon of Bethesda Baptist Church, 3434 Watkins Rd., Columbus. Preceded in death by wife Rita. Survived by sister, Priscilla Stoessel; numerous nieces and nephews; daughter, Kathy Mills; step-son, Tim (Joni) Sparks; grandchildren, Brian (Cori) Mills and Stephanie (Scott) Smith; four great-grandchildren, Morgan, Max, Parker and Paige; son-in-law, Roger (Holli) Mills. Visitation will be Thursday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the MYERS-WOODYARD FUNERAL HOME, 587 Main Street in Groveport, where the funeral service will be Friday 10:30 a.m. Pastor Leigh Upchurch officiating.
