Deborah Ruth Stephens, age 75, passed away September 26, 2026, peacefully at her home. Debbie was born in Columbus, Ohio on January 13, 1951, to the late Albert and Ruth (Raidiger) Ortman. As well as her parents she is also preceded in death by her sister, Judy Kay Ortman.; brothers and sisters-in-law, David (Peggy) and Donald (Carol) Ortman. Debbie is survived by her husband, Paul Stephens of 50 years. She is also survived by her son, Jason (Tonya) Stephens; and daughter, Crystal Souder; grandchildren, Trey (Mary) Milush, Zander Stephens, Daniel Souder; great grandson, Roman Milush; many nieces, nephews, and friends as well as her many beloved pets. Debbie was a bus driver for Groveport Madison Schools for 30 years. She loved the water and being on her boat on the Indian River in Michigan and on the Muskingum River here in Ohio. Visitation for Debbie will be Thursday October 1, 2026, from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Myers-Woodyard Funeral Home 587 Main St. Groveport, Oh. 43207, where additional visitation will be held on Friday October 2, 2026, from 11:00 am until time of service at 1:00 pm. Pastor Chase Frohnpfel officiating. Interment Asbury Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to Heartland Hospice.
