Denise L. McCoy, age 67, went to the loving arms of Jesus on September 1, 2024. Born September 19, 1956 in Warren, Ohio to the late William and Laverne Gibbs. She is now in Heaven with her beloved husband of 31 years, Gary McCoy. Denise is preceded in death by her sister, Charlene (James) Miner. Denise is survived by her two loving daughters, Carla (Kenneth) Whitt and Crystal (Nick) Kirsh; grandchildren, Garrett, Andrew, Emma, Ayden, Jacob, Hanna, Brokton, and Chase. Forever remembered by her siblings; Ruth (late John) Palmer, Beverly (late Richard) DeWalk, Bill (Robbie) Gibbs, Carolyn (Kevin) Riggleman, Wendee (Patrick) Pennington; special co-grandma, Bonnie Kirsh; and many other relatives and friends.

The family will greet friends and loved ones on Friday, September 6, from 6-8 pm at O.R. Woodyard South Chapel, address 1346 S. High St. in Columbus, OH. The funeral service will be held Saturday, September 7, at 10 am, also at O.R. Woodyard by Pastor B.J. VanAman. Interment Lithopolis Cemetery.
