Denise V. Villareal, age 73, passed away Saturday, April 12, 2025. She was born June 29, 1951 in Cleveland, Ohio and graduated high school in Key West, Florida. She was member of the American Council of the Blind as well as the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She had a passion for family, genealogy, and all things Harry Potter. One of her favorite pastimes included finding thoughtful gifts for those she loved. Survived by a close friend and significant other, Paul Pernell (and daughters Paula, Angie, and Sabrina); son Jesse (and Erin); cherished grandchildren Louis, Jesse, Leo, and Giselle; brother, Scott; and many other family members and friends. Preceded in death by her parents, Jesse and Emily Villnuve (Humphries); brother, Robert; sister, Sue; and Art Pernell. Visitation will be held at the O.R. Woodyard Co. Chapel, 2990 Bethel Road, Friday, April 18, 2025, from 11 am to 1 pm. Funeral service will begin at 1 pm.
