D. Renee Lawhead, born on June 24, 1979, in Columbus, Ohio, went to be with the Lord unexpectedly on November 5, 2025. She was 46 years old. Renee was a vibrant spirit whose energy and willingness to help others left a lasting impression on all who knew her.

Renee's life revolved around her family, and she took great pride in her children and grandchildren. She cherished every moment spent with them, creating memories that will linger in the hearts of those she loved. Her children, Jimmy (Victoria) Shreck III, Gracie Cline, Brennen Massey, Adalynn Massey, and Shylah Lawhead, along with her grandchildren, LJ and Kaius, were the center of her universe.

A devoted Christian, Renee accepted Jesus as her savior on October 14, 2015, and her faith played a pivotal role in her life. She had a deep love for her dogs, embodying her caring nature. Renee's compassionate heart and open ears made her a confidante and friend to many who sought her counsel and support.

In addition to her loving family, Renee is survived by her husband, John Lawhead, and her siblings, Michelle Hopkins and Juanita Hannah. She was preceded in death by her parents, Maureen and Rickey Cline, whose legacy will live on through the values and love they instilled in her.

A visitation will be held on November 11, 2025, from 11:00 AM until the time of funeral service at 1:00 PM at O. R. Woodyard Co. Funeral & Cremation Services located at 1346 S High St, Columbus, OH 43207. Interment Sunset Cemetery.

As we remember Renee, we celebrate a life filled with love, laughter, and the indelible marks she left on everyone lucky enough to know her. She will be deeply missed but fondly remembered for her kind spirit and dedication to her family.
