Diana Lynn Black, age 62, passed away at home surrounded by family in Columbus, Ohio, on Friday, January 17, 2025. Born on January 1, 1963, Diane was the 2nd of 5 children of John (1935-2005) and Winifred (1940-2024) Workman.

Diane was a devoted Wife, Mother, and Grandmother. She spent most of her life working many jobs, including Aramark and Gap, to provide for her family. Diane never missed a beat with her children. She was at every Taekwondo practice and competition, every baseball game, every cheerleading event, every softball game, and every school event. She was just as involved with her grandchildren when her health permitted. Diane enjoyed spending time with her family, especially on the holidays.

Diane is survived by her husband of 37 years, John Black; children, JB (Mary) Workman and Christina (Brandon) Morgan; grandchildren, Cameron (Julie), Jayden, Braidon, Mariah, and Brandon JR.; and siblings, Ronnie (Cris) Workman and Carolyn (Rick McDole) Workman. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Winifred Workman; and siblings, Patty Logan and Brenda (Chris) Herald.

Friends and Family can call on Wednesday, January 22, 2025 from 11:00AM until time of service at 1:00PM at the O.R. WOODYARD Co. Funeral Home 1346 S. High St. Columbus, OH 43207. Burial will be at Franklin Hills Memory Gardens, 5802 Elder Rd., Canal Winchester, OH. 43110. Pastor Brad Rickard will be officiating.
