Donald E. Lytle Jr., age 67, passed away Saturday, January 7, 2023. Born on November 26, 1955, in Columbus, Ohio, he spent his life in or near that area, attending Groveport Madison High School. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wanda and Donald E. Lytle Sr. He is survived by his daughter, Rachel V. Miller, son, Jason R. Lytle, sister, Ronda A. West (Charles), and brothers Robert L. Lytle Sr. (May), Daniel W. Lytle Sr., John C. Lytle (Cindy), and Richard D. Lytle, aunts Shirley A. Polzer and Katherine Miller, five grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Retiring from a career as a welder in 2020 from Tosoh, Don, whom most called Skeeter, was an expert at his craft and took pride in his work. He was an ardent fan of the Cincinnati Bengals. He had a special spot in his heart for his mother, Wanda, whom he cherished deeply. Comet, or "poopy dog", which Skeeter endearingly called him, was also very special to him. We can find peace knowing they are all reunited in heaven. Known for his quiet demeanor, honesty, kindness, and devotion to family, he was a private man of integrity and faith and a longtime member of the Church of Christ. To honor Skeeter's wishes, there will not be a funeral or graveside service. There will be a celebration of life held later this month. Those who knew him best will remember him kindly and maybe say a little prayer. He was so very dearly loved, and we are all better for having known him.
