Donald Lee Morgan age 88 of Columbus passed away February 13, 2026 at Grant Hospital. Don was born May 26, 1937 to his parents the late Willard and Lillian Bennett Morgan in Columbus, Ohio. He was a Marion Franklin High School graduate Class of 1957. Served in the U.S. Army National Guard. Started his career as a floor director for Bowling for Dollars, then went on to Celanese Plastic Co. for 20 years and retired from International Harvestor after several years. Don enjoyed his time at church where he served running their sound board and took on a roll as Deacon. He was a follower of NASCAR racing and was a kind and caring husband to his wife Nora Austin Morgan who preceded him. Don was also preceded in death by a son Rodney Morgan; brother Rodger Morgan and sister, Jane Welch, sisters in law Dosha Clemons and Judy Jenkins. Survived by a loving daughter Angel Morgan. Grandson Jacob. Many other friends and family. Services will be held Sunday February 22, 2026 at the O.R. WOODYARD CO. FUNERAL HOME, 1346 S. High St. 2 to 5 p.m. where funeral will be Monday 10:30 a.m. Pastor David Kamer officiating interment Sunset Cemetery
