Donna L. Dunn, age 82, passed away peacefully after a brief illness at the Kobacker House on May 1st, 2025. She was born in Oak Hill, Ohio on October 19th, 1942, to the late Virgil and Ruth (Woodruff) McCain.

Donna and her husband Ronald were proud owners of multiple KFC Franchises. In her free time, she loved to spend time with her grandkids, family and friends. Her favorite holiday was Christmas time; she loved hosting family and friends. She especially loved to cook for her grandsons. You could often catch her listening to Elvis Presley with her beloved dog Annie on her lap.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband of 53 years, Ronald E. Dunn; children, Ronald Scott Dunn and Todd E. Dunn and sister, Billie Jo Gillespie.

She is survived by her daughter, Dena (Dunn) Frere; grandchildren, Andrew Scott Dunn, Tyler Lowe, Zachary Todd Bennett; great-grandchildren; siblings, Darrell McCain and Patricia Evans; dear friends, Patricia Burns and Monique Khoury several nieces and additional friends and family.

Private arrangements have been entrusted to the O.R. Woodyard Co. Funeral Home 2990 Bethel Road, Columbus, OH 43207.

The family wants to thank all the staff at the Kobacker House, especially nurse Debra.In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations to be made to the Kobacker House.
