Donna Darr Hamilton was a loving mother, grandmother, wife, sister, and friend. She left this world on July 24, 2022 at the age of 74. She was born to Lila and James High on September 10, 1947 and grew up in Wilmington, North Carolina. She met her husband Charles Darr in Charlotte, NC and they built a home on Lake Norman. Together, they had 3 children: Richard, Dayle, and Ashlie. After Charles passed, she married Steve Hamilton with whom she shared her life for 25 years. Donna will be remembered for her sweet, loving nature, her beautiful smile, her warm, comforting hugs and especially for her persistently sunny and cheerful disposition no matter what circumstances came her way.
