Donna Marie (Susie) Martin, age 83, of Lewis Center, Ohio passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loved ones on December 27, 2024. She was born on September 23, 1941, to her parents, the late Leo James and Lola Mae Davis in Columbus, Ohio.  Donna was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Ewell Martin of 43 years; son, Michael Lee Martin; sister, Helen Flood; and her parents. Donna is a 1959 graduate of Central High School in Columbus, Ohio. She enjoyed traveling, spending time with her family, watching OSU football and Thoroughbred horse racing. Donna will be remembered for her warmth, kindness, and unwavering love for her family. Her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. She is survived by her daughters, Susan Leigh (Joseph H.) Hatfield, and Michelle Lola Compston, and her son, Jerry Leo Martin;  grandchildren, Joseph Christopher Hatfield, Lola Michelle Koontz, Amanda Leigh Hatfield, Matthew James Compston, Nathaniel Louis Compston, and Michael Ewell Martin. She was also a beloved great-grandmother to Cooper, Joey, Charlotte, Abigail, Aaron, Aidan, Layla, Braylee, Gunner, Sawyer, Reid, and Walker. Donna is also survived by her cherished nephew, Dwaine Lee Davis; niece, Helen "Kelli" McCoy; many great nieces and nephews, aunt, Donna Jean Hill; cousin, Richard Davis; and extended family member, Maria Bernardo. Visitation for Donna will be Thursday January 2, 2025, from 11:30 am until time of service at 1:30 pm at Myers-Woodyard Funeral Home 587 Main St. Groveport, Oh. 43125. Pastor B.J.
