Doris Justice, 79, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away on February 8, 2025. Born on August 22, 1945, in Louisa, Kentucky. Doris spent her early years in her beloved hometown before moving to Columbus, where she built a life filled with love, resilience, and generosity.

Preceded in death by her husband, Freddie Justice; her daughters, Rita Fitchpatrick and Doris "June" Wood; great-granddaughter, Miracle Fitchpatrick; her parents, Tom and Hattie Henson, and several brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her son, Freddie "Ralph" Justice; and sons-in-law, Bryan Fitchpatrick and Roger Wood. She was a proud grandmother to six grandchildren: Patrick (Cassandra) Justice, Roger "RJ" (Riley) Justice, Bryan (Angel) Fitchpatrick Jr., Jesse Justice, Sylvin (Kelly) Fitchpatrick, and Allyson (Sai) Justice, as well as a cherished great-grandmother to seven great-grandchildren. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, who will always remember her love and kindness.

Doris will be remembered for her fierce independence, her love of bingo, and her open-hearted generosity. She never hesitated to open her home to family and friends, offering a warm meal and a place to stay to anyone in need.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, February 15th from 2:00 PM until time of the funeral service starting at 4 pm at the O.R. Woodyard Funeral Home, 1346 S. High Street, Columbus, Ohio 43207.
