Dorothy Louise Blankenship, age 96, passed away on Sunday, September 27, 2026 at home in Columbus, OH. She was born to the late Carl and Mary Kaiser on September 29, 1929 in Columbus.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, Harry Denman; second husband, Frank Blankenship; siblings, Dick, Donald “Woody,” Patricia, JoAnne, Margaret, Chuck, Mary, Fritz, Robert, Teresa.

Dorothy is survived by her children, Carolyn (Mike) Schreiber, Robert (Denise) Denman; grandchildren, Scott (Kristina) Schreiber, Connie (Brian) Boysel, Nichole (Darin) Smith, and Katie Denman; great grandchildren, Matthew Schreiber, Courtney Boysel, Josephine and Elliott Smith; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, October 7, 2026 from 11:00 am until the time of service at 1:00 pm at O.R. WOODYARD SOUTH CHAPEL, 1346 S High St., Columbus, OH 43207. Father Tomás Carvajal-Basto to officiate. Interment following at Glen Rest Memorial Estate.
