Dorothy L. (Rohr) Marinello, born April 8, 1915, passed away on Saturday, March 16, 2013. Dorothy was a loving wife of 67 years to her husband and best friend, Pete Marinello. She was the mother of five children, Bill McClure, Gene McClure, Ed McClure, Cheryl (Marinello) Szluzer and Pete Marinello Jr. She was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Bertha Rohr; her sister, Hazel Smith; her brother, Raymond Edward Rohr; her sons, Bill and Gene; and two grandsons, Marc McClure and B.J. McClure. Dorothy will be greatly missed by her children and their spouses, Donna McClure, Jean McClure, Doris McClure, Vic Szluzer, Susan Marinello, and by her grandchildren, who were a source of great joy to her, Colleen (Rob) Miller, Kelly (Scott) Seymour, Todd McClure, Molly McClure, Ed McClure Jr. (Tammy Miller), Andi McClure (Karen Summers), Scott McClure, Sheree Dreewes, Teri (Jon) Sams, Tami (Jim) Harris, Gif Neil, Robert Haskins, and Pete Marinello IV, and by her great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. She will also be missed by her close friends of many years, Billie and Dan Casebolt. Dorothy will be most remembered for love of family, her determined nature, her caring and accepting spirit and her lifelong love of animals. No doubt, many will remember her from her years as a school bus driver for Groveport-Madison Local Schools. Her family will receive visitors at the MYERS-WOODYARD FUNERAL HOME, 587 Main Street, Groveport, Ohio, on Wednesday, March 20th, from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm. On Thursday, March 21st, a brief service will be held at MYERS-WOODYARD FUNERAL HOME at 10 am. Burial will immediately follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, 6440 South High Street, Lockbourne, Ohio.
