Dorothy M. Moss, age 92, of Columbus, and formerly of Onancock, VA, passed away Tuesday, November 17, 2020, at Riverside Methodist Hospital. Dorothy was born in Saxis, VA on September 21, 1928. She is preceded in death by her parents, Gladys and Gertrude (White) McCready; Olivia (Mister) McCready; brothers, Winford McCready and Austin McCready; husband, William H. Moss; son and his wife, Kenneth L. and Brenda Thole; grandson, Andrew M. Barnes. Survived by daughter, Olivia (Michael) Barnes; granddaughters, Amberlie M. (Nicholas) Leonard, Sheena (Eric)Kauppinen and Melissa (Tim) Neargarder; great granddaughters, Addison and Julia; siblings, Kathleen Linton, Robert "Bobby" McCready,Linda Bellamy, and Gladys Hope (Doug Jarvis) Baczek; many nieces, nephews and family. Private memorial service will be held Thursday, December 3rd, 2020 at 11 a.m. Pastor Steve Putka officiating.
