Dorothy F. (Dottie) Rath, 97, passed away November 15, 2019 at her home at Wesley Ridge, Reynoldsburg. Born February 28, 1922 in Columbus to Clara (Shaub) and Harold Hofmeister. Graduate and first homecoming queen of Reynoldsburg High School. Charter member of St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church. Preceded in death by her parents: loving husband of 43 years, Frank Rath: infant daughter, Susan; siblings, Virginia Allen, John and Harold Hofmeister. Survived by children, Steven (Linda) Rath, Linda (Bruce) Green and Michael (Jodi) Rath; grandchildren, Heather (William) Van Tyle, Kellie Rath (Justin Morocco) and Adam Rath; great grandchildren, Bella and Harrison Van Tyle and Katherine and Joseph Morocco; many nieces and nephews; special sister-in-law, Patricia (Maugie Rath. A celebration of Dottie's life will be held at 2 pm on Saturday, December 7th in the Kimes Chapel at Wesley Ridge, 2225 Taylor Park Drive, Reynoldsburg.
