Dottie Sue Gilman Born December 30, 1940 to Charlie and Rhoda (Wright) Belcher in Dorton, Kentucky. It is with heavy hearts our family would like to share with you the news of our loss. Sue passed away on Tuesday March 17, 2020 in Columbus, Ohio. She was 79 years old. Sue grew up on Elk Creek in Delbarton, West Virginia. She attended Burch High School. She was an active member of Parsons Baptist Church for over 40 years. She was retired and also a homemaker. Over the years she baby sat many children. Each and everyone she saw as family. Including Taylor Freeze Houser whom she thought of as a granddaughter. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother. Everyone she touched in her life spoke of her kind and gentle soul and of her love of family and friends. She will be deeply missed by her husband of 60 years Roscoe Gilman. Her son Johnny Craig Gilman, her daughter Roseanna Gilman Driver, son in law Steven Douglas Driver, grandsons Viktor Alexandrov Gilman Driver and Steven Douglas (Carla) Driver Jr. By her brothers Ricky Belcher and Brian Belcher. Her sisters Dollie McConaha and Betty (Albert) Gilman. Nieces, nephews and a host of other family members. She was preceded in death by her parents Charlie and Rhoda Belcher, her sister Dale Ann Belcher, her brother Wayne Belcher and his wife Kathy Belcher Starr. All of whom were gathered and waiting to welcome her into heaven at the time of her passing. Due to current restrictions the family will have a private service at O. R. Woodyard funeral home.
