Ebony Shalise McCullough, 30, of Columbus, Ohio passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, February 19, 2017 at the Wexner Medical Center. She was born in Bellefontaine, Ohio on July 19, 1986. She is survived by parents, Marilyn Sue and Anthony Wilson of Grove City, Ohio and Robert Lee Howton of Lima, Ohio. Sisters, Malonda (Corey) Johnson of Portsmouth, Ohio, Jasmine Johnson, Chanel Sellars and Sheneta Roark all of Columbus, Ohio; brothers, Sean (Shelby) Howton of Reynoldsburg, Ohio, Robert "BJ" (Calbritta) Carter of El Mirage, Arizona and Raytone Wilson of Columbus, Ohio; special sister, Brandi (Kendall) Banner of Columbus, Ohio; best friends, Curtisha Drafton, Tiara Jones and Janice Reeder; God children Shakira, Shatara, Dashaniar, Na'khia Smith and Sir-Anthony Crumpton; special grandma, Verda Smith; special nephew, Cameron (Kachelle) Roark of San Diego, California; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her grandparents Jimmie (Mildred) Ward, Richard (Catherine) Sanks, Lawrence A. Ratleff Sr., Norma Jean (Norman Jones) Ratleff, and close cousins Larrilyn Ratleff, Christina Moss and Chad Bayliss. Ebony attended Westland High School and the South Western Career Academy. She became a licensed cosmetologist after she graduated in 2005. She later attended Bradford College where she obtained an associate's degree in accounting graduating with honors. Ebony was one of the most genuine individuals you would ever come across; she was unapologetically real. She will be remembered most by her great personality, infectious smile, and her ability to spread love and laughter. Family will receive friends at O. R. WOODYARD CO. CHAPEL, 1346 S. High St., Friday, February 24, 2017, from 6 to 8 pm and Saturday from 9 am until time of service at 10 am. Interment will follow at Sunset Cemetery, Galloway, Ohio.
