Edd Estep, age 82, of Lockbourne has went home to be with the Lord Friday, July 22, 2016 at Mt Carmel West Hospital. Born in Buchanan County, Hurley, Virginia to the late Roy and May Bell Rash Estep of Grundy, VA. Edd retired from Hamilton Twp Schools and was a truck driver for many years. He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Cora, daughter, Sherry, sisters, Ruby Lester, Audrey Griffey and Juanita Estep, and brothers, Charles Estep and Bobby Estep. Edd is survived by sons, John (Ona) Estep of Ashville, OH and Doug (Stephanie) Estep of Dayton, OH; brothers, Donald (Ruth) Estep of Hurley, VA, Jackie (Brenda) Estep of Abingdon, VA; sisters, JoAnn Matney of Abingdon, VA , Pauline Chamberlain of Abingdon, VA, Madge (J.D.) Cowan of Abingdon, VA, Lucille (David) Phillips of Abingdon, VA; grandchildren, Sherri, Debbie, April, Amber, Forest, Heather and Jonathan; 15 great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, and a host of other family and dear friends. Calling hours will be Thursday, July 28 at the MYERS-WOODYARD FUNERAL HOME, Groveport, OH from 4 PM to time of service at 7:30 PM. Pastor Ralph Short officiating. Edd will be laid to rest in the Estep Family Cemetery in Hurley, VA.
