Edith Collins, age 76, passed away at home on February 29th, 2024. She was born on June 16th, 1947 in Eastern Kentucky to the late Roy and Arvie Fairchild, she is one of 16 children. Edith lived in Columbus and worked as a Franklin County bus driver until she later retired.

Edith enjoyed shopping for her family members and was an expert bargain hunter. She loved to bake any chance she got because of her sweet tooth. Edith also spent time gardening and tending to her plants outside her home. She was a Jehovah's witness for over 40 years. Edith was loved by many and will be greatly missed by all.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 58 years, Arnold; son, Hank and granddaughter, Ariana.

Edith is survived by her children, Damon, Dana and Beth; grandchildren, Krystal, Corey, Joseph, Brandon, Sara, Alexis and Diego; great-grandchildren, Seth, Mercedes, Kiera, Keely, Daylin, Caroline, Marissa, Mariah and King.

Friends and family may call from 11AM - 1PM on Tuesday, March 5, 2024 at the O.R. WOODYARD Co. 1346 S. High St. Columbus, OH 43207. A graveside service will be held at 1:30PM at Obetz Cemetery, inturment to follow.
