Edith Marie Ellis, age 70, passed away peacefully at home after a long courageous battle with cancer on Friday, April 11, 2025.

Born June 26, 1954, in Kermit, WV., daughter of Lonnie and Ada Dillon. She lived in Columbus, Ohio, and worked for Big Lots for 25 years. She then went to Heinzerling for several years before retiring in 2021.

Edith is survived by ex-husband and longtime caregiver, Royce Ellis; son, Ronnie (Tammy) Ellis; siblings, Ervin, Lonnie (Bessie) Dillon and Geneva Robinson; grandchildren, Ronni (Dakota) Blanton, Payton Ellis (Tyler Bristol), Gavin, Garrett, Deven, Aiden, and Adalynn Ellis; great-grandchildren, Delilah and Delany Bristol, Harper Blanton. Edith was preceded in death by parents Lonnie and Ada Dillon; brothers, Woodrow, Evell, William and Gerald Dillon; daughter, Jennifer R. Ellis and granddaughter, Brennan L. Fisher.
